Toward the end of the night I went a little nuts making a complete pattern border around the bricks surrounding a street tree

Brighten Up Broad
Last year my neighborhood, Downtown Atlanta, put an event called Brighten Up Broad to spotlight the potential (and the present reality) of Broad St. south of Five Points. The event included live music, a circus act, food trucks, historic labels on the buildings, and a few other things, including a sidewalk chalk contest.
